To my occasional astonishment, a wide swath of Louisville professionals often want to spend some time with me to "pick my brain" or "get some feedback" or "catch up" -- all of which is done better over food. As such, I am now offering an improvement on conventional office hours: The Open Lunch Hour.

Every Friday at noon, I plan to have lunch at Los Aztecas on Main, on the same block as the Humana Building. It has the virtue of being near my day-job office, offers a full-service bar and includes relatively vegetarian options. This should please most everyone except folks who hate coming downtown to park (there are almost always spaces at the Riverfront Garage).

There will be three spots at my lunch table, open to others on a first come, first served basis. If you want to grab a bite and talk, just snag a spot and come what may. You can ask this guy anything you want (within reason). I'm not egotistical enough to promise it will be useful, but it's darn cheaper than an hour of my consulting time, which is, oddly enough, in relatively high demand.

Oh, and for those of you that I consider personal friends, don't feel excluded from these invitations. I'll take your lunch company any way I can.
